Summary: The QA Automation Test Lead will oversee the testing strategy and execution for Medicaid/MMIS applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves designing test plans, coordinating various testing activities, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for Medicaid/MMIS applications
- Design and review test plans, test cases, test data, and test scenarios across modules (claims, eligibility, enrollment, provider)
- Coordinate Product QA, MO, SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration testing activities
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
- Lead defect tracking, triage, and resolution
- Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, HIPAA, and state Medicaid regulations
- Support test automation initiatives and process improvements
- Support QA teams and ensure delivery timelines and quality standards
- Drive test automation and process improvements
- Provide status reporting and ensure adherence to timelines
Key Skills:
- 8-12 years of experience in QA/testing, with strong Medicaid/MMIS experience
- Strong knowledge of claims processing and eligibility systems
- Experience with test management tools
- Experience working on manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent leadership, analytical, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with EDI transactions (X12-837, 834, etc.)
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
- Prior experience in MMIS implementations or modernization projects (Preferred)
