- Do you have any additional upcoming hiring needs or is this request part of a larger hiring initiative? - Testing AWS Connect phone software development for the migration from Avaya to AWS
- Very large QA team with direct contact with Dev teams - AGILE
- QAs hired on this req will be for the following teams: TPG, Agent Assist & Dialer
- We work in a dynamic environment with frequent cross functional interactions
- Not part of a larger initiative but potentially additional hiring in future if scope expands.
Typical Day in the Role
- Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities and a description of the project (Outside of the Workday JD).
- What are the performance expectations/metrics?
- What makes this role unique? - Writing test cases / automation testing
- Data Mapping and estimating work effort/ IVR Requirements
- Identifying the IVR conditions for requesting test data
- Test data submission requests, preparing smoke testing data
- Validating test data using postman/Soap UI
- Identifying test cases from requirements
- Test Strategy and planning, defining test scenarios and test cases, developing and maintaining scripts and analyzing bugs
- Executing the test cases and raising the defects using the Defect Tracking tool (Jira), documenting in confluence and Q test/Quality Center.
- Performance is measured by the quality, accuracy and timeliness of assigned tasks
- Role is unique as it requires deep knowledge of both Avaya and AWS Connect, IVR systems and call center workflows.
