Summary: The QA Automation Engineer role requires a seasoned professional with over 6 years of experience in software QA automation, focusing on both manual and automated testing of web UI and APIs. The position emphasizes expertise in Agile methodologies and collaboration with clients, alongside proficiency in various programming languages and testing tools. Key Responsibilities:

  • 6+ years Software QA Automation Engineer experience with a thorough understanding of QA methodology in manual and automated testing of Web UI and API using Java, Postman, Selenium, Rest Assured and other tools
  • 6+ years working experience in Agile development methodologies, Change Management, Change Control, and Compliance methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience working exclusively within a QA role including some experience working within an agile development environment.
  • Experience with at least one of those languages (Golang, NodeJS, Python)
  • Experience with load and stress testing.
  • Experience with complex SQL queries and data validation in multiple databases.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with clients.
  • Expertise in both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, scalability, and security.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent experience in transforming manual test cases into automated test cases
  • Experience in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking, and reporting
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous build
  • Experience working with Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience designing test plans, writing detailed test cases, and performing hands-on manual testing.
