Summary: The QA Analyst role is a remote position focused on ensuring the quality of software through effective testing practices, particularly in API testing and integration testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Work effectively within a hybrid agile environment, managing timeline extensions and escalating issues.
- Communicate effectively for status reviews, discussing progress, risks, and impediments to maintain project quality.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret complex requirements, solve problems, and propose innovative solutions.
- Design, execute, and automate tests for REST/SOAP APIs; validate data, error handling, and security scenarios.
- Conduct end-to-end integration testing involving multiple stakeholders and platforms.
- Design and develop quality test cases from Business Requirement Documents.
- Understand project management principles and manage cross-functional teams.
- Establish and review ITIL and SDLC processes.
- Utilize effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiently use test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ADO, Jira, TestRail, Postman).
- Work in hybrid agile environments.
- Preferred certification in relevant QA, project management, or Agile methodologies (e.g., ISTQB).
