Summary: The role of Python & JavaScript Full Stack Engineer involves working on innovative projects within a global consultancy, focusing on full-stack web application development. The position requires expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, specifically Python and JavaScript frameworks. This is a remote contract position for six months, classified as inside IR35. The engineer will collaborate with a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Back End APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Develop server-side logic for data processing, user authentication, and database management.
- Optimise database queries and improve system performance.
- Implement robust security measures for Back End applications.
- Create dynamic user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Develop responsive and high-performance Front End components.
- Integrate Front End applications with Back End APIs via AJAX calls.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and seamless user experiences.
Key Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Expertise in at least one Python framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience designing REST APIs and integrating Front End and Back End systems.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimisation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
