Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join a fast-paced consultancy environment, delivering scalable software solutions. This contract role offers the flexibility to work remotely from the UK or EU and runs until September, with a day rate of £300 outside IR35. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python and Java, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain critical back-end services. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain critical back-end services and tools using Python and Java.
- Translate business needs into robust technical solutions while ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Develop APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
- Work autonomously and manage workflow efficiently in a remote setting.
- Communicate effectively within distributed teams.
- Implement modern software development practices, including test-driven development, version control, and continuous integration.
Key Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Python with experience in building and maintaining scalable applications.
- Comfortable working with Java in production environments.
- Experience in developing APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
