Summary: The Python Developer (Automation & Integration) role is a remote contract position focused on building and deploying SDLC pipelines primarily using Python for backend API integration and automation. The developer will work within a Scrum/Agile framework and will also have exposure to Java Spring Boot and Angular in production environments. The position requires strong hands-on experience in Python programming and familiarity with automation in pre-production environments. The contract is expected to last until December 2025, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy SDLC pipelines using Python for backend API integration and environment automation.
- Conduct pre/post-deployment checks and integrate with ServiceNow.
- Adjust environments dynamically through automation in a fast-paced setting.
- Collaborate within a Scrum/Agile framework.
- Utilize Java Spring Boot and Angular for production services.
- Work with Ansible for server automation and manage CI/CD processes using Bitbucket and TeamCity.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.
- Familiarity with automation in pre-production environments.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket + TeamCity).
