Summary: This role is for a Python Consultant with extensive experience in software development, particularly in microservices and related technologies. The position is a 6-month contract that allows for remote work from the Eastern Standard Time zone. Candidates should possess a strong background in Python, FastAPI, and cloud services, particularly Azure. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software solutions using Python and related technologies.
• Build and maintain REST/WebSocket APIs and microservice architectures.
• Utilize FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and PostgreSQL in development tasks.
• Implement containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Work with Azure Cloud Services, including Functions, Web Apps, and IoT Hubs.
• Collaborate on messaging and stream processing using Kafka or Redis.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience in Python.
• Expertise in FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficient with Angular 15.0 or higher.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
• Containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (3+ years).
• Familiarity with Kafka or Redis for messaging and stream processing.
