(VERY) Senior and Not Actually a Developer or Tester
The Client has moved to AWS Cloud and now, their end users, the Data Analysts and Data Scientists, etc., have their output landing in different places than they are used to - i.e. S3 Buckets, EC2 etc.,
So this has changed how the end users need to work going to S3 buckets to get their Data or perhaps EC2 machines, etc. as this is where the data now lands
This role is to help these End Users get to the data and / or into the environment so they can get to their own data...
Tools to be utilized include SAGEMaker, Jupyter Notebook, Domino, and others including Redshift, EMR, Lambda, S3, ECS, SQL
The role will perform as a Solution Provider to automate "things" such as access to environments, access to data, moving data around, "whatever" the End Users need... all post processing meaning "when the data is triggered
This role will need to help transform these environments to something more user friendly
they is no need for direct access to the data
Overall, the role will get the environment to a place where it is end user friendly along with helping with the end users with reporting, and other needs of the end user
Coding in Python is mandatory -- "R" is NTH
AWS Knowledge across the Data Tier and their associated services is especially critical.
