Summary: The PSA Network Engineer (EMS) role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing network and transmission applications within the EMS platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement network and transmission applications within the EMS platform environment.
- Execute full lifecycle development, including feature enhancements, system integration, and maintenance of real-time control applications.
- Perform rigorous testing activities such as Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), integration testing, and on-site commissioning.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability and uptime.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (controls, networking, communications) for seamless system integration.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, configuration management, and testing protocols.
- Provide direct technical support to customers, addressing issues, and delivering system improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and assess emerging technologies for EMS applications.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EMS, SCADA, or real-time application development.
- Hands-on experience with EMS platform systems (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
- Programming expertise in C, C++, SQL, and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of real-time data acquisition, system integration, and communication protocols.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex environments.
