Summary: The Prompt Engineering Lead will spearhead AI integration and innovation for an Oxford client, focusing on enhancing AI capabilities across various platforms including eCommerce and connected devices. Key Responsibilities:
- AI-driven development initiatives across web, backend, mobile, and set-top box environments.
- Guide engineering teams on best practices for integrating AI into existing codebases including how to modify, refactor, and extend current functionality using AI tools.
- Serve as an AI Trainer and Prompt Engineer, designing and refining prompts that improve development efficiency and model performance.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, and Anthropic AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive intelligent automation.
- Conduct research and define strategies for Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy innovative AI-based features and models.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, provide development guidance, and ensure high-quality code delivery.

This position is responsible for enhancing our AI capabilities across set-top boxes, mobile applications, web platforms, integration, database, and backend systems. This role also involves training and mentoring development and product management teams on optimizing the practical application of AI tools. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in AI model development, prompt engineering, and cloud-based tools such as Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, and Anthropic models.
