Summary: The Electric Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of electrical infrastructure projects within the Electric Transmission & Substation projects team. This role requires ensuring projects meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines while managing cross-functional teams and maintaining stakeholder communication. The position also involves financial oversight, risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and support staff, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and the public, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
