Summary: The Project Manager for Structured Cabling and Datacentre Infrastructure will oversee the delivery of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. This role requires coordination with technical teams and suppliers, as well as stakeholder engagement to meet quality and governance standards. The position is remote with occasional travel within the UK and internationally. The contract is for an initial duration of six months with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Structured Cabling and Datacentre infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate installation activities including cabling, rack and stack, and infrastructure deployments.
- Engage with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, governance, and customer requirements.
- Produce regular project reporting and status updates.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering Structured Cabling projects.
- Strong Datacentre project delivery experience.
- Knowledge of rack and stack activities and physical infrastructure deployments.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Strong risk, issue, and change management skills.
- Excellent communication and project governance experience.
- Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project experience.
- Experience within large-scale infrastructure or data centre environments.
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification.
