Summary: We are seeking an experienced MHHS Project Manager to lead projects aligned with the Ofgem-led Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement programme. This role is crucial for supporting the transition to a smarter energy system by enabling half-hourly settlement for all customers. The successful candidate will manage project delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong project management skills and experience in the UK energy sector are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of MHHS-related projects, ensuring compliance with industry milestones and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (IT, operations, regulatory, and commercial teams) and external partners (industry bodies, third-party vendors, DCC, etc.).
- Manage budgets, resources, risks, and timelines to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Represent the business at industry forums, working groups, and programme updates.
- Provide regular project reporting to senior management and governance boards.
- Maintain strong documentation and change control in line with programme standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the UK energy or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of the MHHS programme, smart metering, and the electricity market landscape.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiar with regulatory frameworks and Ofgem-led transformation programmes.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (eg, PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP).
- Able to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience working with DCC, Elexon, or other central energy bodies (desirable).
- Technical understanding of settlement systems, data flows, or metering infrastructure (desirable).
