Summary: Our client, an Energy R&D Authority focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, is seeking a skilled Project Manager for a largely remote role. The position involves recruiting contractors and retailers, providing technical support, and managing program documentation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential construction and code compliance, along with strong project management skills. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension, starting on January 12, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit Participating Contractors (PCs) and Participating Retailers (PRs) for the Program.
  • Provide technical support and conduct desk reviews for scopes of work and installation activities.
  • Utilize IT systems such as Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Asana, Oracle PeopleSoft, and Salesforce.
  • Develop strategic recruitment plans informed by Program data and future needs.
  • Collaborate with Program partners to coordinate outreach activities.
  • Engage contractor and retail channels to support awareness of the Program Opportunity Notice.
  • Create onboarding curriculum and standardized marketing language for PCs and PRs.
  • Review independently developed materials from PCs and PRs.
  • Promote the Program and connect PRs and PCs with residents.
  • Develop educational content to help customers understand their electrical conditions.
  • Manage the intake, review, and tracking of Scope and Quality Installation (QI) documentation.
  • Conduct Scope Reviews to ensure compliance with Program requirements.
  • Review QI documentation for adherence to laws, codes, and standards.
  • Engage PCs to resolve documentation issues.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Program Manual.
  • Coordinate with the Quality & Market Standards (QMS) team on inspections.
  • Develop and review documentation for customers and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Codes & Standards team.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required; engineering or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in residential construction and code compliance.

Notes:

  • Start Date: 01/12/2026.
  • This role is predominantly remote. Occasional onsite attendance may be requested, but no requirement is currently confirmed.
  • Contractors must provide their own computer, mobile phone, and reliable high-speed internet access.

Description:

  • The Project Manager will be responsible for recruiting Participating Contractors (PCs) and Participating Retailers (PRs) for the Program, as well as providing technical support and conducting desk reviews for scopes of work and installation activities.

  • Review independently developed materials from PCs and PRs and monitor for new submissions.
  • Work with company and partner organizations to promote the Program and connect PRs and PCs with residents.
  • Develop and maintain educational content to help customers understand their electrical conditions and determine whether contractor engagement is required.
  • Manage the intake, review, and tracking of Scope and Quality Installation (QI) documentation from PCs.

  • Review QI documentation to verify adherence to applicable state and local laws, codes, standards, regulations, and permit requirements.
  • Engage PCs to resolve missing, inaccurate, or incomplete documentation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Program Manual and all related documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Quality & Market Standards (QMS) team and PCs on inspections, recommending and implementing necessary corrective actions.
  • Develop and review documentation intended for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Model strong adherence to company processes and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals of the Codes & Standards team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree required; engineering or related field preferred.
