Project Manager IT SME (Custom Application)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of custom application development, enhancement, and modernization projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate application developers, architects, business analysts, QA, infrastructure, database, and integration teams.
• Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage application scope, timelines, risks, issues, change requests, and dependencies.
• Coordinate design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Ensure custom applications meet functional, technical, security, performance, and usability requirements.
• Track project deliverables and ensure timely completion according to approved schedules.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, action items, decisions, and requirements traceability.
• Work closely with technical leadership to resolve application-related challenges.
• Support integration with enterprise systems, databases, reporting platforms, and external interfaces.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and implementation readiness activities.
• Provide regular project status reporting to program leadership and client stakeholders.
