Project Manager - Investment Management/Pensions - Technology/IT - M&A

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technology workstream across a complex integration programme
• Define, maintain and manage scope across multiple technology workstreams
• Own programme governance, including RAID management, action tracking and status reporting
• Maintain the delivery roadmap and drive actions through to completion
• Coordinate infrastructure, application, system and data migration activities
• Manage dependencies and decisions across technical and business teams
• Support testing, cutover and stabilisation planning
• Support the decommissioning of Legacy platforms, tools and associated licences
• Ensure delivery remains controlled and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements

Experience required

• Strong experience as a Technology Project Manager within Financial Services
• Ideally an Investment Management background
• Proven experience delivering complex integration, migration or transformation programmes
• Strong governance capability across RAID, delivery reporting and action management
• Experience coordinating infrastructure and application migrations
• Excellent stakeholder management across technology, operations and business teams
• Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment

Highly desirable

• M&A integration/post-merger technology delivery
• Exposure to OCIO, pensions, fiduciary management or investment platforms
• AWS application migration experience
• Legacy platform rationalisation and decommissioning experience

You will be structured, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with the confidence to work across multiple workstreams and senior stakeholder groups.

You should be proactive in chasing actions, resolving blockers and driving work through to completion rather than allowing issues to remain open.
