Project Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee application development projects within an agile environment. This role involves managing project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining alignment with strategic goals. As this is a long-term contract position, the ideal candidate should be ready to contribute to ongoing initiatives in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Responsibilities:
Lead application development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage project workflows and team collaboration.
Coordinate across teams to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and project milestones are met.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing risks and resolving issues proactively.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Implement best practices in coding and software development to enhance project outcomes.
Oversee the integration and management of Content Management Systems (CMS) within project frameworks.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and certifications, including PMP.
Facilitate effective communication between development teams and business units.
Continuously evaluate project performance and suggest improvements for future initiatives.

Requirements

Proven experience in project management, particularly in application development projects.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their practical application.
Proficiency in coding practices and familiarity with software development processes.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
Expertise in managing Content Management Systems (CMS) within development projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify and mitigate risks while maintaining project timelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
