Summary: The role of Project Manager – Digital Forensics involves leading the development of a Digital Forensics Unit for a government agency, focusing on scoping requirements and managing existing contracts. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong digital forensics expertise to scope and shape the development of a potential internal Digital Forensics Unit for a government agency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing requirements for equipment, staffing and accreditation to develop the Unit
- Managing current digital forensics contracts and ensuring those are fit for purpose
- Building relationships with law enforcement partners
- Supporting the creation of policies and procedures for evidence handling
- Keeping leaders informed on emerging legislation, best practices and trends
We are seeking someone with:
- A deep understanding of digital forensics in the criminal justice context
- Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 and Forensic Science Regulator accreditation
- Experience delivering complex projects across multiple agencies
- Experience working for a government agency or the police in a similar role
You must have a right to work in the UK and be eligible for SC clearance.
