Summary: The role of Project Manager (Business Transformation) involves leading the delivery of two strategic projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and digital capabilities within a complex enterprise environment. This fully remote position is a 6-month contract inside IR35, with a strong likelihood of extension. The successful candidate will manage the implementation of an Electronic Data Management System and a Procurement & Supply Chain transformation project. The role requires collaboration across various business functions and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple business transformation projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, budgets, resource plans and delivery schedules.
  • Drive project governance, RAID management, reporting and executive updates.
  • Coordinate internal SMEs, Business Analysts, IT teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Facilitate workshops, manage requirements and support future-state process design.
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business readiness and implementation activities.
  • Ensure successful business adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and financial performance.
  • Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned throughout delivery.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5 years experience delivering business or technology transformation projects within complex organisations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong governance, planning and financial management skills.
  • Experience delivering organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across both business and IT.
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP, Agile or equivalent Project Management qualification.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project or similar planning tools.
  • Previous experience delivering enterprise systems, document management platforms, ERP, procurement or digital transformation projects would be highly advantageous.

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of two strategic business transformation projects that will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, governance, and digital capabilities across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a major transformation programme, delivering projects that combine business change, technology implementation, and stakeholder engagement within a complex enterprise environment.

The contract is initially for six months, inside IR35, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role is fully remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the UK.

The Role

Youll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of two high-profile transformation initiatives:

  • Implementation of an Electronic Data Management System (EDMS), including AI-enabled document management capabilities to enhance legal document management and asset operations.
  • Delivery of a Procurement & Supply Chain transformation project, digitising supplier contract management through the IFS platform to improve governance, visibility, and contract lifecycle management.

Working across Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Digital, Asset Operations and external technology partners, youll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and successfully adopted by the business.
