Summary: The role of Project Manager involves leading the migration of the ActiveH housing management platform from desktop to web for a UK housing organization. This highly specialized position requires demonstrable hands-on experience with ActiveH, as candidates without direct exposure will not be considered. The Project Manager will oversee project governance, manage stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery within agreed parameters. The initial contract duration is 3-6 months, with a daily rate of £450-500.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of an ActiveH desktop-to-web migration
- Own project governance including plans, RAID, dependencies, and reporting
- Manage internal business and technical stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
- Coordinate and manage third-party software suppliers and integrators
- Oversee data migration, testing, and business readiness activities
- Ensure delivery to agreed scope, timescales, and budget
- Provide clear progress updates to senior stakeholders
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering ActiveH projects
- Direct involvement in ActiveH implementations, upgrades, or migrations
- Strong background in housing management systems within social housing
- Experience delivering application or platform migration projects
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Confident operating in complex, change-heavy environments
- Desirable: Experience with ActiveH Web
- Housing association or local authority background
- Structured delivery methodologies (waterfall or hybrid)
