Summary: The role of the remote Project Manager requires extensive experience in cable plant infrastructure, including project management and design. Candidates must possess a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or equivalent experience. The PM will oversee all aspects of project completion, including site surveys and technical documentation related to cabling and wireless infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of cable plant infrastructure projects.
- Prepare site survey plans, including cable plant drawings and layouts.
- Coordinate cabling efforts and project scheduling.
- Analyze, design, install, test, and document cable infrastructure.
- Provide pre-site survey floor drawings based on government-provided plans.
- Ensure compliance with standards for Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling.
- Oversee the installation of peripherals for emergency notification systems.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience in cable plant infrastructure.

The remote Project Manager (PM) with a minimum of 15 years xxx experience or 10 years xxx
experience and a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification, or the following:
Minimum of 20 years of cable plant infrastructure experience
Minimum of 15 years experience in project management of cable plant infrastructure projects
Minimym of 10 years experience in cable plant infrastructure design
The PM shall be experienced in Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling and standards, wireless infrastructure planning and installation technologies. The PM should have demonstrated technical experience in preparing site survey plans consisting of cable plant drawings, computer room layouts, and rack elevation diagrams, coordinating cabling efforts, scheduling and project management.
The PM shall have demonstrated technical experience in analysis, design, installation, testing, and documentation of cable infrastructure, floor drawings, Visio, Bluebeam networking hardware and telecommunications.
The PM shall have demonstrated experience in the layout and installation of peripherals (e.g., alert beacons and speakers) of the Alertus Technologies Mass Emergency Notification System.
The PM will be responsible for all facets of every project s completion.
The PM shall provide pre-site survey (draft) floor drawings based on floor plans provided by the government. These drawings will indicate cable drop locations, WAP location, camera or Alertus equipment drop location, Computer room(s) power requirements, and any egress requirements.
