Summary: The Travel and Expenses Project Manager will oversee the implementation and optimization of T&E processes for a global organization, primarily working remotely for an initial period of five months. This role demands a strong finance background and extensive project management experience, focusing on enhancing efficiency and compliance within T&E systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage T&E projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and scope.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including schedules, resources, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including finance, HR, and IT, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Implement and optimize T&E policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide training and support to employees on T&E systems and processes.
- Monitor T&E spending and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Analyze T&E data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Design and create reports for program management and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve T&E-related issues and provide ongoing support.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a Travel & Expense context.
- Strong understanding of T&E policies, procedures, and systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- Experience with T&E software and integrated systems (e.g. Concur Travel, Concur Expense, Workday, SAP, Mulesoft, Zendesk, ServiceNow, Tableau) (preferred).
