Summary: The HEOR Project Manager will lead the delivery of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) projects for a global pharmaceutical company. This role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency through project management tools and AI solutions. The position is remote but requires residency in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end execution of HEOR and RWE projects across multiple business units
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and key deliverables
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Manage third-party vendors, including onboarding, contracting, invoicing, and performance oversight
- Support RFP development, proposal evaluation, and change order management
- Monitor project timelines and risks, proactively identifying and mitigating issues
- Ensure data accuracy, process compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Drive operational efficiency through project management tools and AI-enabled solutions for reporting, automation, and workflow optimization
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments
- Experience managing HEOR or RWE projects across the full project lifecycle (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios across multiple business units
- Experience overseeing third-party organizations (CROs/TPOs), including contracting and invoicing
- Working knowledge of HEOR study types, including observational studies, systematic literature reviews, health economic modeling, and patient-reported outcomes (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Planisware, or similar)
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance project management workflows (e.g., scheduling, reporting, risk prediction)
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification (preferred)

The HEOR Project Manager will oversee the end to end delivery of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) projects across multiple business units. This role is responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships, including coordination with third-party organizations for onboarding, contracting, and invoicing. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, proactively mitigate risks, and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Additionally, this role will drive operational efficiency by leveraging project management tools and incorporating AI enabled solutions for workflow automation, reporting, and risk identification.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Project Management Experience 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments
- Experience managing HEOR or RWE projects across the full project lifecycle (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios across multiple business units
- Experience overseeing third-party organizations (CROs/TPOs), including contracting and invoicing
- Experience with RFP development, proposal review, and change order management
Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Working knowledge of HEOR study types, including observational studies, systematic literature reviews, health economic modeling, and patient-reported outcomes (preferred)
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical planning cycles and portfolio management
- Understanding of procurement processes, contracting frameworks, and budget management
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to HEOR research (e.g., data privacy, SEQS PRD) (preferred)

- Experience automating routine tasks such as invoice tracking, milestone monitoring, and portfolio reporting
- Willingness to adopt and champion emerging AI-enabled technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a matrixed pharmaceutical organization
- Familiarity with tools, operating models, or HEOR Central workflows
- Experience supporting both strategic initiatives and operational execution
