Key Responsibilities:

Role Summary
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Gateshead (Remote First)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: FTC up to 12 months*
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading cloud solutions and managed services business based in the North East. Synergi is an award-winning technology provider working in the region and UK-wide with companies such as The AA, Highways England and Northumbrian Water.
The objective of this role is to manage medium to large sized projects through the project life cycle. Ensuring that the projects and the associated contracts are delivered in support of the products and services provided by Synergi to its clients. This role requires close working relationships and coordination across the PMO, the different Synergi Practices and related consultants, Practice Leads, Directors and the Senior Management Team (SMT) with oversight from the Head of Projects where needed or requested.
Excellent communication and written skills are essential to be successful in this role, as well as the ability to prioritise and manage your workload in a methodical manner in order to meet customer deadlines. This role will span our two of our three core teams - Cloud Applications and Business System (ERP).
Requirements:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Independently plan and schedule the execution of medium to large sized projects and required resources with the support/guidance of the Head of Projects, as and when required.
- Manage the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to ensure successful implementation of projects.
- Able to use various project management tools such as the RAID log.
- Assist consultant with the management of change requests.
- Create project status reports and presenting this at the external weekly meeting with the client.
- Participate in lessons learned sessions with clients.
- Assist consultants with the development of the project close-out report.
- Coordinate project team activities.

- Able manage more complex expectations of internal/external stakeholders.
- Able to solve and provide solutions to more complex problems/issues with escalation to a more senior level if/when required.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, ensuring collaboration and alignment on project objectives.
- Resource Management:
- Co-ordinate with Head of Projects to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to meet project goals.
- Identify and resolve resource constraints to maintain project momentum in collaboration with the head of projects.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify project risks and issues with the support from the senior Lead Consultant and/or the Head of Projects.
- Assist in the development of mitigation strategies with the team.
- Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to project standards and best practices as set out by the PMO.
Education / Training:
- Project Management course and/or relevant Project Management Professional qualification/certification.
- Experienced in using Prince2/PMBOK; and Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Demonstrable experience of managing successful projects.
- The ability to handle multiple projects at once and working under pressure with a high-volume portfolio.
