Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of IS initiatives, ensuring projects achieve promised outcomes and contribute to transformation goals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, senior leadership, and third-party suppliers
  • Establish control and visibility of project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones
  • Proactively manage risks, implementing suitable mitigation plans, and reporting/escalating issues as needed
  • Ensure financial performance and adherence to program budgets, with regular reviews of project actuals and Estimates at Completion (EAC)
  • Assure the content and quality of project documentation, including Basis of Estimates, RAID logs, PIDs, and strategic roadmaps

  • Demonstrable experience in Programme Management, with a focus on strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional, high-impact projects
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, particularly in the delivery of business critical or transformative projects within an IS environment
  • Experience managing the full program lifecycle, including proposal development, mobilisation, delivery, service transition/support, and closeout
  • Adept in schedule, risk, and financial management, with a strong focus on strategic alignment and delivery

We're working with Leidos on this exciting opportunity. Leidos is seeking an enthusiastic Technical Program Manager to join the LCST Team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to shape and mature new ways of working within a critical £6Bn defense program, ensuring the successful integration of projects and continuous improvement of IS systems.
