La Fosse is looking for a Project Manager who has experience with HDLC/SDLC manging a project from concept through to production as well as liasing with Electronics / Firmware / Mech on-shore and off-shore teams.

Contract outside IR35 9+ months

The product is an innovative initiative aimed at providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a seamless connection between their on-premise fire and security systems and cloud-based services. By introducing the the new product the businesses can integrate their existing fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems with advanced cloud offerings. Installed directly at the customer s premises, this solution enhances security management, offers new functionalities, and streamlines operations by leveraging modern digital tools.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the project through the completion of its Proof of Concept phase. The role involves coordinating team members, overseeing the development of hardware and software specifications, and ensuring the successful integration of various communication protocols and security features. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in project management and a passion for bringing innovative technology solutions to market. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a project that aims to transform how SMEs manage their fire and security systems.

Initially a 6-9 months engagement, though could easily extend past the POC to full production/rollout.

Role to start asap, so only candidates imminently available would be interesting.

Please also note that this is a product development project (rather then an IT project), and though there are definite commonalities between the 2, it would be great to see resumes with relevant experience around projects with technical product development and proof of concept components.
