Summary: The Project Manager (Contract/Interim) role focuses on leading a critical data migration project to consolidate multiple data platforms into a single source of truth using Databricks.   • Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders confidently.
  • Hands-on, delivery-focused approach.
  • Experience with AZURE, AWS, Snowflake, or legacy data warehouse platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance or architecture principles.

Salary (Rate): £400.00 daily

Project Manager (Contract/Interim) Project: Data Migration (Single source of truth) Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Start Date: ASAP Rate: £400 per day (inside IR35) We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact Databricks migration project, consolidating data from multiple platforms into a single source of truth. This is a critical programme for our business, and we need someone who can hit the ground running.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the end-to-end migration of a number of data platforms to our new Databricks platform, working with multiple data teams and stakeholders.
  • Managing timelines, risks, and dependencies across different data sources and platforms.
  • Ensuring clear communication and alignment across tech, data, and business teams.
  • Delivering a robust, scalable single data environment that underpins strategic decision-making.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering data migration or modernisation projects, ideally involving Databricks or similar cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong project management skills – you’re comfortable owning delivery and keeping complex programmes on track.
  • Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders with confidence.
  • A hands-on, delivery-focused approach – this role is about getting things done.
  • Experience with AZURE, AWS, Snowflake, or legacy data warehouse platforms.
