Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the consolidation of three existing billing systems into one new strategic platform
  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of a large-scale data migration (millions of records)
  • Oversee data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning
  • Define and manage migration strategy (phased vs. big bang), rollback plans, and contingency controls
  • Ensure data accuracy, auditability, and regulatory compliance throughout
  • Manage integration touchpoints across Finance, Customer, Payments, and Reporting systems
  • Coordinate internal technical teams, finance stakeholders, and third-party vendors
  • Own RAID logs, governance forums, steering updates, and executive reporting
  • Lead testing phases including SIT, UAT, parallel runs, and post-migration validation
  • Minimise operational disruption during migration and go-live

  • Proven experience delivering billing system transformations or consolidations
  • Strong track record managing large-scale data migration programmes (high-volume datasets)

Project Manager – Billing Systems Consolidation & Data Migration

We’re urgently looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical Billing Systems Transformation programme for a FTSE100 Retail brand. This is a complex consolidation project involving the migration of three legacy billing systems into a single new platform, including the secure and accurate migration of millions of customer, financial, and transactional records. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of this high-risk, high-impact programme, ensuring data integrity, operational continuity, and a seamless transition to the new billing environment. "You’ll play a pivotal role in modernising billing infrastructure, reducing technical debt, improving financial reporting accuracy, and creating a scalable foundation for future growth, all while delivering one of the most business-critical migrations the organisation has undertaken."
