Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee large-scale capital projects within the Major Projects organization, focusing on construction and energy infrastructure valued between $10M and $500M+. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (scope, schedule, cost, execution)
  • Establish and manage project baselines, forecasting, and change control
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality construction execution
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, invoices, and capital spend tracking
  • Maintain relationships with municipalities and regulatory authorities
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget (±5%), and with full compliance

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related field (or 9+ years equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years managing construction-related projects
  • 3+ years working with pipeline construction contractors
  • 3+ years managing project budgets
  • Knowledge of gas system design & operations (gas flow, construction, emergency response)
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction codes
