Summary: The Senior Project Manager will oversee large-scale capital projects within the Major Projects organization, focusing on construction and energy infrastructure valued between $10M and $500M+. This role requires managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality throughout execution. The position also involves collaboration with various stakeholders and maintaining project budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (scope, schedule, cost, execution)
- Establish and manage project baselines, forecasting, and change control
- Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality construction execution
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Manage budgets, invoices, and capital spend tracking
- Maintain relationships with municipalities and regulatory authorities
- Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics
- Deliver projects on time, within budget (±5%), and with full compliance
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related field (or 9+ years equivalent experience)
- 5+ years managing construction-related projects
- 3+ years working with pipeline construction contractors
- 3+ years managing project budgets
- Knowledge of gas system design & operations (gas flow, construction, emergency response)
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction codes
- Experience with construction scheduling tools & MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of systems like WMS
- Valid Driver's License
