Summary: The Project Manager (Application Testing) role involves overseeing testing activities for application migration to a new infrastructure in the APAC region. The position requires a skilled individual to manage pre and post-migration testing, ensuring successful application delivery. The role is remote and is expected to start ASAP, with an initial duration of 6 months. The candidate must have proven experience in managing application testing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager to specifically deliver Application Testing works streams - an expertise in delivering test projects is mandatory
- Set up a testing workstream with stakeholders from each China business line and their technical support contacts
- Update scope to include all Global Apps and all China Apps
- Create a testing dashboard to track progress
- Define what success looks like and what success rate we want to achieve to Go live'
- Request each application custodian (lead tester) to create a formal and specific test plan which includes any upstream/downstream connectivity along with any monthly tasks
- Review the test plan to ensure it is adequate and ready for the formal testing
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure requirements are testable and clearly understood.
- Review which testers can be re-used, if any test plans could be re-used, recruit new testers based on gaps across the business lines
- Work with local support to distribute laptops and account credentials to the agreed testers
- Complete the formal testing using the agreed testing scripts/plans
- Record results in the testing dashboard, track defects and assign owners and support teams
- Participate in daily stand-ups, issue resolution, and re-testing
- Obtain sign off per application from the business lines/technology owners
- Manage applications testing during the migrations with the delegated teams to ensure no impact to service
- Detailed reporting on applications and weekly updates
- Close the testing workstream, present the summary and measure against the defines success criteria
- Identify testing gaps and propose recommendations post project close
- Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes within the agreed timeframes
- Excellent communication skills

Bench IT require an experienced Project Manager to deliver testing activities on programmes in the APAC region. The client has recently built a new infrastructure in APAC and subsequently requires the successful Project Manager to deliver pre & post migration testing activities to ensure success when delivering the applications to the new infrastructure.
This will be starting ASAP and working remotely. The successful candidate should have the skills and experience to cover the scope included below;
