Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 1-month AI Assessment engagement for a UK-based client through a specialist technology consultancy. The role involves coordinating an AI capability assessment and developing actionable recommendations for AI integration. If successful, the project may extend into delivery and implementation phases. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to the client office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate an AI capability assessment across business and technology domains.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements, existing systems, and operational goals.
  • Develop a clear roadmap and actionable recommendations for AI integration opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops and site visits to gather inputs and align stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assessment findings and maintain strong communication across business and IT stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in Agile project delivery, ideally within consulting or advisory roles, working directly with external clients.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, with hands-on experience in delivering AI-based solutions (eg ML/LLM, automation, GenAI), not just strategic oversight.
  • Ability to bridge business and IT, and translate complex technical concepts into practical, commercial outcomes.
  • Track record working with mid-sized organisations or fast-moving environments, ideally with exposure to multiple stakeholders across business functions.

This role is to support a strategic review and assessment project for a UK-based client operating across multiple sites. If the assessment is successful, the project is expected to extend into the delivery and implementation phases.
