Project Engineer

Role Overview

This role requires someone who combines strong full-stack engineering skills with excellent product judgment and a strong focus on user experience.

Responsibilities

• Own product features end to end, including:
• Scope
• Build
• Ship
• Measure
• Iterate
• Build across both frontend and backend.
• Partner closely with product design and company founders.
• Translate user problems into effective product solutions.
• Maintain a strong focus on UX, quality, and product trust.
• Use data and user feedback to determine what to build and what to prioritize.
• Contribute to product direction rather than simply implementing tickets.
• Work regularly across the Angular / NestJS / Postgres stack.
• Build responsibly with sensitive health data using a HIPAA-aware approach.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Angular, NestJS, and Postgres, or proven ability to ramp up quickly.
• Strong full-stack experience shipping user-facing products end to end.
• Strong product sense and ability to understand the "why" behind a feature.
• Ability to operate comfortably with ambiguity.
• Strong bias toward shipping.
• Strong eye for UX and product quality.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage environment.

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Design sensitivity.
• Consumer product experience.
• Health product experience.
• Early-stage startup experience.
