Summary: Whitebridge is seeking a Programme Planner to facilitate the transition of various new IT services, including End User, Service Desk, Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Firewalls. The role requires a strong background in project planning within large-scale IT transformation projects. The successful candidate will work remotely with occasional office visits and will be employed under an umbrella company. Immediate availability is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the transition of new IT services.
- Manage project schedules across multiple suppliers.
- Interpret complex technical and commercial information into actionable plans.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Proactively identify and manage risks in fast-paced environments.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Planner/Scheduler in large-scale IT transformation.
- Strong proficiency with planning tools such as MS Project, Project Online, or Primavera P6.
- Understanding of service transition, cutover planning, and dependency mapping.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
- Experience in regulated industries is desirable.
- Professional planning or project management certifications are beneficial.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Planner/Scheduler in large-scale IT transformation or multi-supplier transition programmes.
- Strong proficiency with planning tools such as MS Project, Project Online, or Primavera P6.
- Experience managing schedules across multiple suppliers, including exit and transition planning.
- Strong understanding of service transition, cutover planning, dependency mapping, and readiness gating.
- Ability to interpret complex technical and commercial information and translate it into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including senior leaders.
- Ability to work proactively in fast-moving, high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
- Demonstrable ability to challenge constructively and highlight risks early.
Desirable experience
- Experience in regulated industries (energy, utilities, financial services).
- Familiarity with IT outsource contracts, service models, or commercial transition triggers.
- Exposure to ITIL, service transition, SIAM, or large-scale multi-supplier operating models.
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Professional planning or project management certifications beneficial (APM, PMI-SP, PRINCE2).
