Information about the Programme Facilitator role: Emeritus is seeking a Programme Facilitator in AI in Finance: Strategy, Applications and Impact for IMPERIAL Executive Education. The Programme Facilitator is a subject matter expert that shapes the student’s experience and guides students through their learning journey. Candidates must have industry experience, demonstrated knowledge of the course subject area, strong interpersonal skills, and previous experience in teaching, mentoring or other instructional role. This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. This is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.

Responsibilities of the Programme Facilitator include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate weekly office hours and moderate required discussion boards.
• Respond to group and individual questions about program content and assignments.
• Conduct interactive webinars to stimulate student learning.
• Provide assignment feedback on a select number of assignments in the program.
• Moderate and guide learner engagement during faculty live sessions.
• Support learners in synthesizing live session content delivered by the faculty.
• Assist with capstone assignment challenges.
• Monitor learner progress and provide support or escalation as needed.
• Collaborate with the Emeritus team to solve unexpected program challenges.
• Suggest improvements to ensure content is communicated clearly, accurately, and effectively in videos, assignments and collateral mate.

Qualifications for the role:

• 10+ years of extensive work experience in the field of finance, economics, or any related field.
• A degree plus MBA from a top university in Finance, analytics, Data science or AI.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and capital allocation.
• Experience identifying cost benefit and ROI modeling for AI programs.
• Experience with financial analysis, statements and creating financial models.
• Proven experience with investment evaluation of technology /AI initiatives.
• Experience managing ML concepts, AI cost drivers and AI performance metrics.
• Experience partnering with C-suite and board members.
• Experience providing guidance and recommendations to management to ensure transformation or innovation plans align with company goals.
• Experience supporting executive or mid-career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
• Ability to translate content into actionable insights.
• Empathetic and learner-centered approach.
• Comfortable in an online environment, navigating LMS platforms (Canvas), Zoom, Slack, or similar environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.

Programme Description: The programme in AI in Finance: Strategy, Application and Impact from Imperial Executive Education is designed to equip finance leaders like you with the strategic insight and confidence to evaluate AI initiatives, improve financial decision-making and strengthen risk and compliance frameworks. It will enable participants to participate in exploring real-world applications of AI in credit evaluation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), fraud detection, regulatory compliance, trading and portfolio optimisation. By the end of the programme participants will be able to recognize and learn how to analyse financial data types and choose the right models for risk assessment, forecasting and strategic planning.

Duration: 6-weeks (estimated learner commitment: 4–5 hours/week).

Structure: Blend of asynchronous Canvas activities and live Zoom sessions.

Target Audience: Mid- to senior-level professionals and leaders.
