Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end program lifecycle for mainframe modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.
- Oversee the implementation of WebMethods solutions, ensuring integration with existing systems and processes.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
- Monitor program progress, track key performance indicators, and report on status to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in mainframe modernization and WebMethods technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in mainframe modernization projects, with a deep understanding of legacy systems and migration strategies.
- Strong expertise in WebMethods, including integration, API management, and workflow automation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and their application in modernization efforts.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies and tools.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile, etc.) are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in program management, with a focus on IT transformation and modernization.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
