Key Responsibilities:
- Manage groups of related, complex projects ensuring alignment with Division Roadmaps and Business Strategy.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA's) with Program Sponsor(s).
- Drive decision-making and recommend project adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery of all projects within the Program.
- Establish and execute Governance framework for projects and the program.
- Maintain project and Program Roadmaps that align with Business Strategy.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree and Project Management Certificate preferred.
- 10 years of business/industry work experience, with 6+ years in leadership roles.
- 8+ years managing large projects using formal project methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, resource management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- PMP and PgMP designations preferred.

Job Description
- This role is responsible for managing groups of related, complex projects that share a common objective and ensuring alignment with Division Roadmaps and Business Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Partners with Program Sponsor(s) to develop comprehensive business cases and Cost Benefit Analyses (CBA's) that maximize ROI and value delivery across the Program of projects. Is able to guide and influence the Sponsor's vision toward optimal solutions. Works with Program Sponsor(s) to drive decision-making and recommends re-scoping, postponement or cancellation of projects as necessary.
- Holds others accountable to drive all projects within the Program to on-time, on budget, on-scope delivery within established variances. Proactively influences change and manages change with limited friction.
- Establishes and executes Governance framework for both constituent projects and the program itself with the goal of optimizing resources and ROI. Identifies opportunities for process improvements in Governance and Management Reporting.
- Possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools and can easily transition from one methodology to another.
- Partners with Program Sponsor(s) to develop and maintain project and Program Roadmaps that align with and accelerate delivery of Business Strategy. Ensures that the end-to-end solutions fit within the context of short and long-term roadmaps.
Education Required
- Degree/Certification required: Bachelor's Degree Project Management Certificate preferred
- Must have experience in the Life and Disability (LAD) insurance domain
- Minimum Years Of Work Related Experience Required
- Minimum years experience required: 10 years of business/industry work experience, 6 + years of leadership experience, 8+ years managing large projects utilizing a formal project methodology, techniques and tools. 8+ years managing concurrent project assignments with varying difficulty.
- Specific Industry And/Or Specialty Experience Required
- Deep knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, risk assessment and change management. Demonstrated ability to manage the "big picture" and understand how groups of projects sequence together into a Program view. In addition to Project and Program Management expertise, advanced skills in Financial Management, Budgeting, Procurement and contract negotiations are desired.
- Specific Licensing Training And/Or Designation Required

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and negotiate solutions to resolve conflicts. Demonstrated ability to influence and educate all levels of internal stakeholders, including Executives management.
- Education/Experience/License/Training/Skills PREFERRED
- PMP and PgMP designations from the PMI are preferred.
