Summary: The Program Manager is tasked with overseeing a portfolio of related projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic value delivery. This role emphasizes coordination, governance, stakeholder management, and successful execution across multiple workstreams. The position requires occasional office visits while primarily being remote. Compensation is structured as a W2 position with a pay rate of up to $80 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics aligned with business strategy
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, timelines, and roadmaps
- Oversee multiple projects and ensure interdependencies are managed effectively
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams
- Provide regular program updates, status reports, and risk assessments
- Establish program governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, processes, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct program reviews and audits as needed
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects
- Resolve escalations and remove roadblocks impacting program delivery
- Allocate resources effectively across projects
- Monitor program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
- Define KPIs and track program performance against targets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience in program or project management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana)
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
