Summary: The Technology Program Manager for Change Management & Communications will lead the delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring organizational readiness and user adoption through effective change management and communication strategies. This role acts as a liaison between technical teams, Service Owners, and business stakeholders, managing complex programs that provide significant business value. The position requires a strong focus on program management, change management, and communication excellence. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing technology programs and implementing change management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end program delivery for a specific technology project, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Support in defining program objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics in alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.
- Monitor program progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Assist in advising on, developing, and executing comprehensive change management strategies along with Service Owners.
- Assist in conducting limited impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness evaluations to determine the scope, scale, and nature of change required.
- Assist in establishing feedback mechanisms to monitor adoption rates.
- Assist in developing and delivering clear, concise, and compelling communications tailored to diverse audiences in support of Service Owner content.
- Create and manage communication plans to convey program vision, goals, progress, and outcomes.
- Assist in facilitating workshops, meetings, and presentations in support of the program.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from stakeholders, adjusting communication strategies as necessary to maximize impact.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and conflicts, maintaining a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct.
- Prepare and present regular program status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Change Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing complex technology programs/projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational change management methodologies, such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step, or similar frameworks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language.
- Experience developing and executing communications strategies for large-scale initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities across all levels of the organization.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet).
