Information about the Program Facilitator role: Emeritus is seeking a Program Facilitator for the MIT xPRO Program Designing and Building AI Products and Services. The Program Facilitator is a subject matter expert that serves as the front-line academic support for learners in the course, supporting the delivery of a high-impact, 10-weeks online program. Candidates must have industry experience and demonstrated knowledge of the course subject area; They will guide learners through complex topics like AI-driven strategies, frameworks, and challenges in real-world contexts. This is a great role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. This is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.

Responsibilities of the Program Facilitator role:

• Learn the program content including video content, discussion topics, assignments, knowledge checks/quizzes and other LMS activities to enable Consultant to perform the Services hereunder.
• Moderate weekly discussion boards: respond to learner questions within 24 hours, share relevant articles/materials, when necessary, and encourage learner participation.
• Grade and provide written feedback on program assignments within 4 days of submission by participant as required by customer of the Company.
• Respond promptly to participant questions relating to the program.
• Meet with Company’s Academic Delivery team from time to time if required by customer of the Company.
• Host weekly office hours and the Introductory webinar for participants.
• Moderate faculty sessions where required.

Qualifications for the Program Facilitator role:

• 10+ years of extensive work experience in the field of MLAI or any related field.
• A degree plus MBA from a top university; in the STEM fields preferred.
• Proven experience identifying automation and the use of gen AI and agentic AI.
• Proven experience using AI-powered robotics and autonomous tools and systems.
• Proven experience managing transformation projects from initiation to closure.
• Experience leading technology integration projects using ML/AI in business units.
• Experience designing and developing various processes involving AI-based products.
• Experience using cutting edge technology and strong programming skills using Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
• Experience providing guidance and recommendations to management to ensure transformation or innovation plans align with company goals.
• Experience supporting executive or mid-career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
• Ability to translate content into actionable insights.
• Empathetic and learner-centered approach.
• Comfortable in an online environment, navigating LMS platforms (Canvas), Zoom, Slack, or similar environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.

Program Description and Context: Deploying the right AI technologies in your organization can help you automate routine tasks, gain insights through data analytics, and engage better with customers. Given the broad spectrum of AI’s applications in organizations, it’s no surprise that AI Specialist is the top-rated job on the LinkedIn Emerging Jobs Report in 2020. The Designing and Building AI Products and Services program will help participants understand design principles and applications of AI across various industries. The goal is for participants to create an AI-based product proposal, which can be presented to internal stakeholders or investors. Participants will learn the various stages involved in the design of AI-based products, the fundamentals of machine and deep learning algorithms, and apply the insights to solve practical problems. By the end of the program participants will have the knowledge to devise a strategic plan for AI applications, and then help manage and optimize them in practice.

Duration: 10-weeks (estimated learner commitment: 5-6 hours/week).

Structure: Blend of asynchronous Canvas activities and live Zoom sessions.
