Summary: Seeking a Production Support Engineer with extensive experience in Prolog administration and support, particularly in the context of Smart/Advanced Materials data tracking for engineering and construction projects. This role is essential for maintaining Prolog's operational integrity and facilitating accurate data management for innovative material technologies. The position requires a blend of technical support skills and domain knowledge in construction workflows. The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvements and support engineering teams in material data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prolog Support & Administration: Provide Tier 2/3 production support for the Prolog application, including system stability, workflow troubleshooting, and complex issue resolution.
- Configuration & Customization: Administer and configure various Prolog modules, focusing on cost control, document management, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, contracts, and custom workflows.
- Reporting & Analytics: Create, maintain, and optimize custom fields, templates, and reports within Prolog to meet the specific data tracking and reporting needs of project teams.
- Smart Materials Data Integration: Support engineering teams working with advanced/smart materials (e.g., sensor-enabled materials, composites) by enabling the accurate tracking and logging of material test data and sensor data flow within or integrated with Prolog.
- Troubleshooting & Escalation: Troubleshoot issues related to material test data integrity, sensor data flow, and integration points. Collaborate effectively with internal IT teams and the Hexagon vendor team for escalations, fixes, and system enhancements.
- Process Improvement: Develop comprehensive training materials, documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations for Prolog users and system processes.
