Summary: The role of Product Owner/Product Manager involves leading the development of data platforms within the reinsurance, actuarial, or investments sectors. The position requires strong agile/scrum experience and the ability to prioritize product deliverables in collaboration with business stakeholders. The role is fully remote and classified as outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate. The successful candidate will work with a boutique software consultancy focused on delivering innovative solutions to the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the requirements gathering process.
  • Understand and map out business processes to derive your product's business logic.
  • Maintain a product backlog (JIRA) and coordinate with project stakeholders.
  • Communicate status and progress with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with other product owners in multi-squad teams.
  • Identify and monitor metrics to gather feedback and improve product and user engagement.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in building data platforms.
  • Strong experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
  • Background in reinsurance, financial services, investments, or actuarial fields.
  • Ability to own the prioritization process in conjunction with the business and your team.

Job Title: Product Owner (MUST HAVE: Reinsurance, Actuarial or Investments experience, building data platforms)

Ideal Behaviours:

  • Must have strong experience working in an agile/scrum way.
  • Reinsurance, financial services, investments or actuarial experience.
  • Own the prioritisation process in conjunction with the business and your team.
  • Plan the scope and timing of releases and deliverables.
  • Create and track the success of your product delivery using KPIs/OKRs
  • Experience working in both start-ups and large corporations.

Key Responsibilities:
