Product Owner

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong Data Engineering background to lead enterprise-scale data transformation initiatives. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable data platforms and real-time data pipelines. The ideal candidate will manage the product vision and backlog while ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered. This position is fully remote and focuses on driving continuous improvement in data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data platform initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and demos.
• Ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and mitigate delivery risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within Data Engineering or Data Platform environments.
• Strong understanding of Streaming Data Concepts, Event-Driven Architectures, Data Pipelines (ETL/ELT), Data Integration Frameworks, and Modern Data Platforms.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong backlog management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
