Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Shopify administration to lead the roadmap and execution of our eCommerce platform. The role involves bridging business needs with technical implementation to ensure high-performing Shopify solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product vision, stakeholder communication, and continuous enhancement of the platform. This position requires a blend of strategic oversight and hands-on experience in product management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, monitor competitors, and identify opportunities in organizational processes.
- Supporting product sales or other product goals established.
- Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit.
- End to end team output strategy from inception to production.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products alignment with value streams.
- Accountable for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders.
- Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their team.
- Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.
- Works closely with CPO to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design.
Key Skills:
- 9-11 years of overall experience in Product Management / Product Ownership roles.
- 3+ years of direct experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Hands-on Shopify Admin experience (mandatory), with a strong understanding of:
- Shopify store configuration
- Products, collections, pricing, discounts
- Payments, shipping, tax setup
- Apps, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Strong experience in eCommerce platforms, preferably FMCG, retail, D2C, or marketplace domains.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritize effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
