Summary: The Product Owner for Customer Data will lead the development and evolution of the customer data and loyalty programme, bridging marketing, technology, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the customer data and loyalty programme.
  • Own, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, creating detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the business, managing expectations and communicating progress.
  • Work day-to-day with a cross-functional agile team, participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, leveraging data analytics to inform product decisions.
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure the success of the loyalty programme.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively identify and resolve issues that may hinder product development.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a digital product environment.
  • Experience with customer-facing products, particularly in loyalty, rewards, or CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and evolution of our customer data and loyalty programme. This is a crucial role that sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, and customer experience.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, specifically in a digital product environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working on customer-facing products, ideally with a focus on loyalty, rewards, or CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within an agile team.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the business (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Data Science, Customer Service). Gather and synthesise requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress effectively.
  • Work day-to-day with a cross-functional agile team (e.g., developers, designers, QAs). Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, their behaviours, and their needs. Leverage data analytics to inform product decisions and measure the success of new features and initiatives.
  • Define and track key product metrics (e.g., customer lifetime value, retention rate, engagement metrics) to measure the success of the loyalty programme and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor loyalty programmes, and new technologies to ensure our programme remains innovative and competitive.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may hinder the development or adoption of the product.
