Summary: The Product Manager for ParentApp at Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH) will be responsible for translating complex program and user requirements into clear specifications for the app's deployment. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the product is user-centered and evidence-driven. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving digital support for parents globally. This position is remote with potential for hybrid working arrangements in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Translate programme needs, user insights, and research evidence into clear product specifications.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams for new features.
  • Monitor and analyse user engagement data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development and interpretation of dashboards for programme and product teams.
  • Map and optimise ParentApp processes across content, development, implementation, and localisation workflows.
  • Support data flows between ParentApp and external systems.
  • Maintain documentation of system architecture, integrations, and release notes.
  • Develop test plans and conduct QA for new features, updates, and country-specific adaptations.
  • Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, and work with engineers to resolve them.
  • Ensure product releases meet quality and accessibility standards across contexts.
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Chief Scaling and Innovation Officer to prioritise enhancements and plan releases.
  • Collaborate with country teams to gather requirements and understand implementation needs.
  • Communicate technical concepts in clear, accessible language to non-technical teams.
  • Assist with localisation processes for new countries, ensuring content, data, and feature adaptations match requirements.
  • Maintain organised documentation for deployments, configurations, and adaptations.
  • Provide support during country launches and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related role.
  • Experience working with mobile apps, digital learning platforms, or behavioural-change products.
  • Strong skills in user-centred design, prototyping, and iterative development.
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to use standard project administration applications (Google Drive, GitHub, Figma, Monday.com).

Product Manager: ParentApp Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH) is looking for a collaborative, resourceful, and creative committed individual to serve as a Product Manager for ParentApp.

Position Type: Full Time

Location: This is a remote-working position, although hybrid working is negotiable in the United Kingdom

Salary: $68,697-$75,692 base salary, plus benefits

About the role: The Product Manager: ParentApp will translate complex programme, user, and research requirements into clear technical and functional specifications for ParentApp deployments. You will support the senior product manager, engineering team, country scaling teams, researchers, and content developers to ensure the product remains user-centred, engaging, evidence-driven, and technically sound. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning systems, ideas, and user needs into structured solutions—and who is excited about improving digital support for parents around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements & Specification Development
  • Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Translate programme needs, user insights, and research evidence into clear product specifications

Essential criteria:

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelors plus eight years’ experience) in computer science, public health, international development, child and family psychology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, digital programme management, or a related role
  • Experience working with mobile apps, digital learning platforms, or behavioural-change products
  • Strong skills in user-centred design, prototyping, and iterative development
  • Commitment to PLH's core values and organisational culture
  • English, written and spoken with a high level of proficiency
  • Ability to use standard project administration applications (Google Drive, GitHub, Figma, Monday.com)
