Summary: The role of Product Manager involves supporting a public sector digital programme, requiring active SC clearance and experience in agile environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
- Lead stakeholder engagement, gathering and translating requirements into delivery priorities
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive iterative delivery
- Ensure products meet required outcomes and quality standards, including GDS compliance
- Use metrics and feedback to inform continuous improvement
- Support governance, reporting, and participation in GDS assessments
Key Skills:
- Active SC clearance (must be in place prior to start, those without need not apply)
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital services in the UK public sector in a recent role
- Strong experience in GDS standards and experience participating in GDS service assessments
- Proficiency in JIRA for managing backlogs and agile delivery workflows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with or knowledge of ServiceNow platform and services
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and product delivery lifecycle
