Summary: The Product / Technical Manager role focuses on overseeing product development within control and monitoring systems for an international engineering business. Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of product development across control & monitoring systems
- Reviewing and challenging Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
- Working closely with overseas development/manufacturing teams
- Acting as the technical interface for customers
- Supporting UI/UX and overall product performance
Key Skills:
- Experience in control and monitoring systems (heating, environmental or similar)
- Strong understanding of IoT / connected products
- Knowledge of protocols such as OpenTherm, BACnet, Modbus, Zigbee/Z-Wave, RF, WiFi
- Experience working across full product lifecycles
- A solid grounding in electronics / PCB fundamentals
- Confidence operating in a standalone, commercially aware role

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an internationally focused engineering business operating within the control and monitoring systems space, who are looking to appoint a Product / Technical Manager to support ongoing product development and growth. This is a key, standalone role sitting between engineering, product, and customer delivery. You’ll take ownership of a range of connected control products, working closely with international development teams to ensure products are technically sound, user-focused, and delivered to spec.
