Summary: The role of Senior Product Designer involves creating user-centered mobile experiences aimed at preventing misuse and promoting user safety. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive solutions that guide users away from harmful interactions. This position is remote and is set for a 12-month contract, starting as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UX/UI design, particularly for mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mobile-first experiences (Android/iOS) that are simple, intuitive, and user-centered
• Turn broad, conceptual ideas into usable and meaningful features
• Collaborate with client engineers and ML teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end UX and back-end classifiers
• Lead design projects from ideation through to execution and launch
• Regularly present and review your work with internal stakeholders and design committees
• Contribute to product strategy alongside PMs, engineers, researchers, and content strategists
• Participate in weekly team meetings, design critiques, and studio hours with the design systems team

Key Skills:

• 8–10 years of experience in UX/UI or product design
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design and interaction design (iOS/Android)
• Experience with Figma, and prototyping tools such as ProtoPie, Origami, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving, storytelling, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Interest in user safety, spam prevention, and the integrity space
• Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, or a related field
