About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile government initiative delivered via an Agile Product Management environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving change, from facilitating initial kick-off workshops to shaping to-be processes and crafting development-ready user stories.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including User-Centred Design (UCD), developers, and product managers, you will ensure that solutions meet core business objectives while delivering an exceptional user journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to assess product themes, facilitate kick-off workshops, and establish realistic delivery timelines.
  • Drive research into as-is business processes and lead the design and agreement of efficient to-be process maps.
  • Write clear, concise user stories with fully testable acceptance criteria, ensuring deliverables are ready for development.
  • Partner with UCD, engineering, and testing teams to align designs with user needs and business goals, resolving queries as stories progress through implementation.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accessible project artefacts while identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  • Assist Product Managers with stakeholder demos and support the wider team in maintaining alignment with the overall vision.

Essential Criteria

  • You must hold current, active SC Clearance and NPPV3 Clearance (Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3).
  • Proven track record working as a Business Analyst within government or public sector environments.
  • In-depth, practical experience within an Agile Product Management framework.
  • Proven ability to work alongside UCD colleagues to balance functional business requirements with customer journeys.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
